PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 (6 oz.) jar peanut butter 12 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened 1 c. light brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 2 eggs 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. milk 2 c. uncooked oatmeal 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 c. chocolate bits Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease two cookie sheets. Cream together the peanut butter, butter and both brown and white sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, milk and vanilla. Beat to combine. With a wooden spoon, stir in the oatmeal. Fold in the chocolate bits. Scoop up rounded teaspoons of batter and drop onto cookie sheet, leaving about an inch between cookies. Bake 12 minutes or until slightly brown and centers are still chewy. |
