PRESTON COMPANY BUCKWHEAT CAKES 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour
2 c. buckwheat flour

Morning: 1/2 c. hot water 1 tbsp. sugar

Soften yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk, salt, flour, and buckwheat flour. Let set overnight. Add soda to hot water. Add to batter. Add sugar and thin as desired with warm water.
