SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. dark karo syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. pecans

Combine first 5 ingredients; blend thoroughly. Chop pecans. Stir 1/2 pecans into mixture. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Top with remaining pecans.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to an hour.
