OLD FASHIONED BROCCOLI RICE
CASSEROLE
 
3/4 c. each chopped onions & celery
2 tbsp. butter
3 c. cooked rice
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
4 oz. pasteurized process cheese spread
1/4 tsp. each salt & ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 c. (2 oz.) grated cheddar cheese

In large skillet cook onions and celery in butter until tender crisp. Add remaining ingredients except grated cheese. Spoon into butter 1 1/2 to 2 quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with grated cheese. Bake 3 minutes longer, or until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
