GOLDEN APPLE CRUMB PIE 
1 (9") pastry shell, unbaked
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
5 c. peeled apples, thinly sliced
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
Dash nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss with prepared apples. Put in pie shell. Combine brown sugar, flour, nutmeg and butter; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle apples with crumb mixture. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
