CREAMED POTATOES & CABBAGE 
2 c. chopped onions
1 stick butter
1 sm. head cabbage, shredded
4 or 5 potatoes, cooked

Saute 1 cup chopped onions in 1/2 stick butter. When golden brown add shredded cabbage. Cover and steam until tender. Add water if necessary. Meanwhile, mash potatoes in large container. Salt to taste. Add cabbage to mashed potatoes; mix well. Saute remaining onions in butter until crispy. Put cabbage potato mixture on warm serving plate and top with crisp onions. Serve hot.
