CREAMED GREEN CABBAGE (EA) 
1 qt. coarsely cut green cabbage
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water

1 cup white sauce made with cabbage liquor and milk. Cook cabbage until just tender and drain, saving liquor. Measure. Add enough milk to make 1 cup of liquor. Make a medium white sauce and pour over cooked cabbage.
