EASY APPLE DOUGHNUTS 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. half & half
1/3 c. frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1 egg, slightly beaten
Oil for deep frying
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix first 6 ingredients and blend well. Add half & half, apple juice concentrate, and egg; stir thoroughly with fork. In 3 quart saucepan, heat 3 to 4 inches oil to approximately 375 degrees. Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil, 5 or 6 at a time. Fry until golden brown, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes each side. Drain on paper towels. Roll warm doughnuts in the 1/3 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Makes 30 to 35 doughnut balls.
