STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. mushrooms
4 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. cracker crumbs or crushed croutons
1/2 c. chopped stems from mushrooms
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. chopped garlic - garlic powder may be used
1/2 c. shredded Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped oysters (or clams)
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute onion, mushroom and oysters in butter for 5 minutes. Add cracker crumbs, seasoning and cheese. Brush mushrooms with soft or melted butter and fill with sauteed mixture. Bake in oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
