ORANGE - PINEAPPLE ICE CREAM 
1 pkg. (6 oz.) orange-pineapple gelatin
2 c. boiling water
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. half and half
1 can (20 oz.) crushed, chilled pineapple, undrained
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
1 carton (8 oz.) non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1 can (12 oz.) frozen orange-pineapple concentrate (or orange juice), thawed, undiluted

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; set aside to cool to room temperature. Beat eggs in large bowl to frothy. Add sugar, flour, salt and half and half, mixing to blend. Place mixture in heavy saucepan over medium heat, stir constantly until mixture coats spoon (soft custard) about 10 minutes. Cool, add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Chill, preferably overnight, pour into gallon can freezer and freeze. Yield: 1 gallon.
