LOW FAT ALFREDO SAUCE | |
1 tbsp. butter 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt pinch nutmeg 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 3 cups low fat milk 1/2 tsp. pepper cooked fettuccine pasta Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add flour; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Whisk in milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, whisking; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Toss with Parmesan cheese and cooked fettuccine. |

I also don't like a super garlicky Alfredo sauce. So for me this was a really good recipe and it's easily adjustable.
I do like a little garlic so what i do is dust my chicken pieces with a little flour and garlic powder, fry those till there done and they have a crispy crust, and then ad that to the sauce after its cooked.
I think this is an awesome base recipe, if you don't like a lot of stuff, then here you go, and you can add whatever you want to make it your own if you so choose.
