SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 (2 layer) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix cake mix according to package directions. Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full. Cream the cheese with the sugar and beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop 1 rounded teaspoon cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directions. Makes 30 cupcakes.
