SECRET KISS COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. unsifted flour
1 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate kisses, about 36
Confectioners' sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Gradually add flour and nuts; chill dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mold approximately 1 tablespoon dough into a ball and flatten. Wrap around a chocolate kiss. Bake for 15 minutes. When cool, roll in confectioners' sugar.
