NANNA SHIRLEY'S ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 egg
3 tbsp. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
3 tsp. oil

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

In another bowl beat egg, sugar and oil. Add yeast. Pour mixture into large bowl with flour. Add warm water as needed to make soft ball.

Put down on wax paper with flour on it. Knead dough on wax paper and work in flour. Put a small amount of oil in a large bowl and turn dough in it. Let rise 1 hour or until double in size.

Dump out on was paper and knead, then let rest 15 minutes. Pinch off rolls and roll in oil. Put close together on cookie sheet. Let rise for another hour. Bake at 400 until brown.
