FRUIT SALAD PIE 
2 baked 9" pie shells
1 (1 lb.) can sour cherries
1 tsp. red coloring
6 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. sugar
6 bananas

Drain cherries. Add juice to sugar and cornstarch. Cook until thickened. Add cherries and food color. Cook until very thick. Add nuts. Slice bananas into shells. Add cooled mixture. Chill and serve with "real" whipped cream. May also be made in pastry - lined 9 x 13 inch pan.
