SAUSAGE SQUARES 
1 lb. hot sausage
12 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 lg. cans crescent rolls
1 egg

Spread one can of rolls in bottom of 9 x 13 greased pan pinching seams together. Brown sausage and drain well. Beat egg slightly and add to sausage. Stir in cheese. Spread mixture on top of rolls in pan. Take second can of rolls and spread on top of sausage mixture, pinching seams as before. Bake at 350 degrees until brown, approximately 15 minutes. Cut into squares.
