1 c. milk
6 tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix milk and flour; bring to a boil and cook until thick. Stir constantly, let cool. Mix together butter, Crisco, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add flour mixture; beat with mixer until like whipped cream.
