SPINACH 'N STRAWBERRY SALAD 
12 oz. fresh spinach
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/4 c. safflower oil
2 salad vinegar
1 to 2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. green onions, chopped
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper and Tabasco
1 pt. of strawberries, sliced (mandarin oranges can also be used)

Wash spinach, discard stems. Dry and tear into bite-size pieces. Wrap in toweling, refrigerate. Toast sesame seeds on a pie pan at 350 degrees, shaking once or twice until golden. Cool.

Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, onion, salt, pepper and Tabasco until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate. Toss dressing with spinach and sesame seeds. Gently toss in strawberries. Serves 8.
