ENCHILADA PIE | |
1/2 dozen corn tortillas 1 lb ground beef 1 can black olives, sliced 1 onion, chopped 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1 1/2 c.grated cheese 2 sm. cans tomato sauce butter 1/2 c. water Brown meat with chopped onions and drain. Add tomato sauce, chili powder, and olives. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, butter both sides of tortillas. Place tortillas in a deep casserole dish. Add layer of meat mixture an sprinkle with cheese. Continue with layer of meat and cheese, add 1/2 cup water. Bake covered for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let set 10 minutes before serving. |
