BUTTERFINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. butterfinger chips, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Beat in egg until light and fluffy. Blend in flour, soda, and salt. Stir in butterfinger chips. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 13 minutes until lightly browned. Let stand on cookie sheet 2 minutes.
