2 oz. chocolate
1/2 c. butter
3 egg yolks
Pinch salt
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites, beaten
20-30 vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Melt chocolate and butter. Add egg yolks, salt, sugar, vanilla and nuts. Cool. Fold in beaten egg whites. Put wafer crumbs in 9"x13" dish. Pour chocolate mixture over crumbs. Spread softened ice cream over chocolate and freeze. Cut in squares.
