2 qt. sauerkraut, rinsed once 1 tbsp. caraway seed 1 tbsp. brown sugar Cooked sausage or ground beef may be added. Combine ingredients and simmer slowly. Grandma Theresa Yaklin used to cook her sauerkraut slowly for most of an afternoon stirring once in a while. A good filling dish. |
