ALMOND CHERRY CHEESE CAKE 
CRUST:

2/3 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. almonds, broken
1/4 c. sugar

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. cherries, canned & drained

TOPPING:

1 pt. sour cream
5 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Slivered almonds for garnish
Maraschino cherries for garnish

Mix crust ingredients and press into bottom and sides of 9" pie plate. Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Mix eggs in until creamy and smooth. Fold in cherries. Pour in crust and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Let pie cool for 10 minutes.

Mix topping ingredients except for almonds. Pour over pie. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Top or garnish with almonds, cool pie 8 hours or overnight before serving. Garnish with cherries just before serving.
