APPLE CRISP 
6 lg. apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. oatmeal (not instant)
1/2 c. butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. Arrange sliced apples in pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and oatmeal in a bowl.

Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 45 minutes or until topping looks crunchy and apples are tender.
