APPLE CRISP 
Put on vanilla ice cream to make a delicious dessert!

BUTTER CRUNCH:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans, walnut, or coconut

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients with hands. Spread in ungreased baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inch. Bake 15 minutes; stir with spoon. Store in covered container in refrigerator.

APPLE PORTION:

1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 or 2 dashes aromatic bitters (optional)

Heat oven to 450 degrees. In ungreased pie pan, mix pie filling, lemon juice, cinnamon, and bitters. Sprinkle Butter Crunch over the top and bake 10 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm over ice cream.
