BARBEQUED RIBS 
This recipe is for about five (5) pounds of lean ribs (either pork or beef).

SAUCE:

1 can tomato soup
1/2 sm. bottle catsup
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
2 med. onions, sliced
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
Salt and pepper to taste

Put ribs in large roaster, cover with sauce, bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour; then cover, reduce temperature to 300 and bake for another 3 to 4 hours. Turn ribs every hour and baste them. Uncover pan for last hour if you like the ribs well browned.
