JOE'S ROSEY RED RHUBARB CAKE 
2 c. diced rhubarb
1 box white or yellow cake mix, mixed as directed
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Few drops red food coloring

In a well-greased 9x13 inch pan, place rhubarb. Pour cake over rhubarb.

Meanwhile, boil sugar, water and coloring until sugar is dissolved. Pour over unbaked cake and bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Let set 10 minutes and turn out on tray. Top with Cool Whip.
