BLACKBERRY CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 whole eggs
3 c. flour
6 tbsp. sour milk
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. cinnamon

Sift dry ingredients together. Mix alternately with other ingredients in mixing bowl until well blended. Add 1 1/2 cups well-drained unsweetened blackberries. Bake until cake tests done in 350 degree oven. You may add 1/2 cup of nuts or raisins if you like. Icing with caramel.
