PECAN TARTS 
1 sm. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. self-rising flour
1 stick butter

Cream cream cheese and butter. Add flour. Use spoon. Chill 2 hours or longer. Roll and cut to size of muffin tins. Use cupcake liners.

FILLING:

1 c. chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped pecans
2 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar

Mix all ingredients, adding beaten egg whites last. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
