DELUXE MACARONI AND CHEESE 
7 oz. small elbow macaroni
2 c. large-curd cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. mustard
2 1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large bowl combine remaining ingredients except 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese. Drain thoroughly and toss with cheese mixture. Turn evenly into buttered 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake, uncovered, in preheated 400 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until set. If top browns too quickly, cover with foil after 20 minutes. Serves 4.
