BUTTERSCOTCH - OATMEAL BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch bits
1/3 c. rolled oats

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add butterscotch bits and rolled oats. Put in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees, 25 minutes. Excellent for freezer.
