NOODLE PUDDING (Sweet) | |
12 oz. broad noodles 4 1/2 tbsp. cooking fat 4 eggs (separated) 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 3/8 tsp. nutmeg 3/4 c. chopped seedless raisins 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt Boil, drain and rinse noodles. Add fat, well beaten egg yolks and remaining ingredients lastly, folding in stiffly beaten egg whites. Mix well and pour into a greased casserole. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 45 minutes or until browned. Serve topped with sour cream. Serves 4 to 6. |
