CREAM CHEESE SNOWCAPS 
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. lemon or almond extract
1 cup powdered sugar

Combine flour and baking powder. In a small mixer bowl beat butter and cream cheese till softened and well blended. Add sugar and extract and beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture and beat until well mixed. Cover and chill for 1 to 2 hours or until easy to handle.

Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in 350 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or till done. Remove and cool slightly. In a plastic bag gently shake a few cookies at a time in powdered sugar. Cool thoroughly. When cool, shake cookies again in powdered sugar.

Makes about 3 dozen.
