SEVEN MINUTE FROSTING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 egg whites
5 tbsp. water
1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in upper part of double boiler all ingredients except flavorings. Blend thoroughly with rotary beater, then place over rapid boiling water and continue beating until frosting stands in peaks, approximately 7 minutes. Remove from heat, add flavoring and beat again until frosting forms firm swirls and ridges, when it is ready to spread.

To insure success, remember to use a deep boiler and sturdy rotary beater; keep water in lower vessel boiling steadily and beat constantly with no rest pauses.
