"HARDEE" BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
melted butter

Mix together flour, sugar and baking powder. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk. Top with melted butter before baking.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 450°F.

Makes 9 "Hardees" large biscuits or 12 regular size.
