CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP 
2 c. peeled, chopped ripe tomatoes
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 sm. bay leaf
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk

Melt butter; add onion, cook until tender. Stir in flour, add milk. Heat until slightly thickened. Add tomatoes, cook until tomatoes are tender. Blend in blender until smooth. Return to heat. 2 servings.
