2 egg whites
Pinch of salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Line cookie sheet with foil. Beat egg whites with salt and vanilla until foamy. Add sugar gradually. Beat until stiff. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto foil. Put in preheated 375 degree oven and turn oven off. Leave for 8 hours. (For Christmas top each with red or green M&M prior to putting in oven.)
