ANGEL'S TOUCH DESSERT 
Crush 1 pound vanilla wafers and put 1/2 in bottom of 9 x 13 inch cake pan (reserve some for top).

2ND LAYER:

3 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat until thick. Add egg whites, stiffly beaten; fold in carefully and place on top of layer of crumbs.

3RD LAYER:

1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained

Add on top of second layer. Add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts.

4TH LAYER:

Beat 1 pint of whipping cream; add a little vanilla and sugar to taste. Pour this over the third layer.

5TH LAYER:

Add the reserved vanilla wafer crumbs on top of fourth layer and chill 12 hours.

Note: Do not use anything but real whipping cream. This is a good dessert that can be planned a day ahead of a party!
