CHINESE CHEWS 
4 tbsp. C&H brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3 c. C&H golden brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
4 eggs, beaten
4 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13x9 inch pan.

Blend 4 tablespoons brown sugar, the butter, flour and salt with pastry blender. Turn mixture into pan and pat until firm. Bake 20 minutes.
