5 MINUTE FUDGE | |
2/3 c. Carnation milk (1 sm. can) 1 2/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. marshmallows (use miniatures today) 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits 1 tsp. vanilla Boil milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly; start timing when mixture starts to bubble around the edges. Remove from heat and add marshmallows, chocolate, and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows and chocolate melt. Pour into 8 inch square buttered pan. Makes about 2 pounds. I always double the recipe. |
