GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
Pepper to taste
2 cans tomato sauce
4 oz. cream cheese
5 scallions, chopped
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Brown beef. Drain. Add garlic, salt, sugar, pepper and tomato sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cook noodles. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and scallions. Butter casserole dish. Layer noodles, meat sauce, sour cream mixture (in this order) and top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

(Note: best mixed the day before!)
