Sour Milk Biscuits

Look no further for a great easy to make biscuit.. Absolutely delicious every time... I did add 1/4 teaspoon white sugar by mistake, I thought I was adding salt but it only enhanced the flavour... no harm done.. I believe these will become your biscuit of choice from now on.. I used regular whole milk, not spoiled....

Very basic and plain. Nothing fancy. Foolproof. Adding a little sugar would be recommended. All in all a decent recipe.

Easy, my go to biscuit recipe. Never fails. Most often, though, instead of sour milk, I use a cup of plain yogurt instead.

Very good! Not sure what the secret is since I've made variations on this a hundred times. Maybe it's the low moisture dough. I had to work it to get it to come together. Lightly kneaded up to maybe 10 times to form it. definitely will be making again.

Good recipe -- I use home-grown Kefir instead of buttermilk -- it's somewhat more acid, so I increase the baking soda somewhat. Makes very light biscuits.
