2 lbs. peaches, 2 1/4 c. crushed
2 tbsp. lemon juice or juice from 1 lemon
5 c. sugar
Stir sugar into peaches and lemon juice. Let sit 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix 3/4 cups water and 1 box Sure Jell in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 1 minute. Stir in peaches. Stir for 3 minutes. Overfill containers. I use plastic 1/2 pint freezer containers. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Place in freezer. Put in refrigerator to thaw and use. This recipe cannot be doubled.
