NANNIE'S LEMON SPONGE PIE 
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar, scant
2 egg yolks, beaten
Juice of 1 lemon (5 tbsp.)
Grated rind of lemon
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites, beaten

Mix flour and sugar together. Add beaten egg yolks, lemon and rind. Add milk and fold in egg whites which have been beaten stiff with salt. Pour into unbaked shell and bake in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes and then reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
