GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
2 qt. green tomatoes, quartered
2 c. onions, chopped
1/4 to 3/4 c. hot peppers, chopped (depending on how hot desired)
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. salt
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Put onion, tomatoes and peppers in large pan. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over vegetables. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and put in sterile jars and seal.
