CHEWY CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. butter (softened)
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Reese's peanut butter chips or 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Gradually blend in creamed mixture. Stir in peanut butter or chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes (do not overbake). Cookies will be soft. About 4 1/2 dozen. Nuts can be added also.
