1 1/4 c. butter, soft
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) peanut butter chips

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy in mixer bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Blend into creamed mix. Stir in peanut butter chips.

Drop by teaspoons on ungreased sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet one minute, then transfer to wire rack. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
