OVEN BAKED CHICKEN 
Cut 3-4 pound chicken into serving pieces and put in roasting pan.

SAUCE:

1 pkg. onion soup mix
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
Salt and pepper to taste

Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour over chicken and bake at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours.

I also substitute ground tumeric for the mustard.

Reduce cooking time to an hour and a half, as well. Chicken falls off the bone!
