1 jar maraschino cherries
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1/2 block wax

Drain and freeze cherries about 20 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla. Place around cherries and put on waxed paper. Put them in the freezer while you melt 1/2 block of wax and the chocolate chips. Dip candy in chocolate and put back on waxed paper. (Be sure to melt wax and chocolate chips in a double boiler and keep chocolate warm while dipping.)
