PICKLED EGGS 
4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. pickling spice
2 tsp. salt
2 bay leaves
2 cans sm. whole canned beets
2 dozen hard-cooked and peeled eggs

Over high heat, bring vinegar, sugar, pickling spice, salt, bay leaves, and beets to boiling. Add eggs. Let stand to pickle.
